What is meant by affordable hearing aids?

Affordable means what? Does it mean that they are made cheaper than other brands of the same quality? Or does it mean that they are cheaply made, therefore inferior quality? Affordable hearing aids can mean many things because of the use of the word affordable which can mean different things to different people….if you are rich, it can mean that a Rolls Royce is affordable, but if you are very poor, even a motor scooter might not be affordable.
