Some hearing loss occurs naturally while others are effects of something else other than being born without any sense of hearing. Hearing loss may occur gradually to some people which make it more difficult to distinguish when you need a hearing aid. Other individuals often resign themselves to a quiet world where sounds are muted, especially those who can not afford a hearing aid or afford to go to a doctor for a diagnosis.
